Weekly
No pictures this week but I worked 38 hours and I have 302.75 hours for this quarter. I had some trouble with mirror heaters in a Freightliner FLD and the breaker wasn't labeled so I was able to find it by checking for voltage across the breakers. After replacing the breaker I tested the circuit and found that the driver's side heating element had failed. The new breaker failed to trip and the heating element burned up (I though I smelled something).

Weeks report
This week I learned what operator abuse to a clutch looks like. I also learned what happens when you install an 8" bore clutch in a truck that is supposed to have a 7.5" bore clutch. The flywheel presses against the clutch disc and prevents the clutch from disengaging burning up the clutch brake instantly. 46.75 hours this week and 264.75 for the quarter.

Weeks report
This week I learned that you should always make sure that there is something wrong before trying to fix it. One of the drivers complained that the Jake brake wasn't working so after testing the switch I plugged my meter into the circuit and driving around the loading yard I found that they were actually working properly. I also tore apart a forklift engine that had been sitting out in the weather for a number of years and found that it in fact had no water damage whatsoever. 35 hours this week and 178 for the quarter.
